Short introduction to the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG

With the news about the FFXIV TTRPG Advanced Rulebook: Stormblood I shared yesterday, some of you were actually surprised that Final Fantasy also has a tabletop game. Here’s some information to help you get started.

You can begin your TTRPG adventure by choosing either the Starter Set or the Standard Rulebook.

Starter Set (59.99€) is a good choice if:

- You are completely new to TTRPGs or the FFXIV TTRPG system

- You want a "cheap", all-in-one box to try a few adventures right away

- You don’t mind using pre-generated characters and limited customization

Standard Rulebook (currently on sale for 35.98€) is better if:

- You want to create your own unique adventurer and progress them through a campaign

- You want access to all 13 core Jobs and the full rules up to Level 60

- You plan to be the Game Master and need the complete rules, detailed lore, and tools to design your own adventures

- The deluxe version (189.99€) adds premium accessories like metal dice, an acrylic player board, and printed Job/Trait cards
