Xe's Final Fantasy Secret Lair Drama

Two weeks ago, while on a business trip, I got a notification that my Wizards of the Coast parcel was about to be delivered. It was the Final Fantasy Secret Lair I pre-ordered on June 9th.

The package was supposed to arrive Monday, after I got home. I tracked it all day, but I was busy and only checked after dinner. According to the DPD app, the worst delivery service ever, it was delivered. (Seriously, Square Enix should also reconsider working with them) No one rang the doorbell, even though we were all home.

I went downstairs to pick it up. The package was gone. Nowhere to be found. I asked my neighbors if they saw anything. Even a neighbor who got home minutes after the supposed delivery did not see the package. So either it was stolen fast, or it was never delivered at all.

I was furious and immediately opened tickets with DPD and Wizards of the Coast. Big shoutout to @wizards_magic support, who replied within two hours and gave clear instructions.

Because the package was obviously stolen, I filed a police report and gave all the info to DPD, who still have not cared or replied, and also to WotC. Then, a week later, the police showed up with info from DPD claiming I signed for the package. They showed a fake signature that was definitely not mine. The audacity!!

I emotionally gave up, thinking I would never get these cards for my collection. But Wizards of the Coast actually said they will send a replacement package. Unbelievable. Other companies, looking at you Square Enix, just refund or just say "sold out".
