Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade currently has a Metacritic score of 90, making it the 7th highest rated Switch 2 game and tied with Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter as the best rated RPG.
Digital Foundry says FFVII Remake on Switch 2 blends PS4 settings with PS5 Intergrade features:
• Runs at a stable 30fps in both docked and handheld play
• Loading times are much faster than PS4, though still behind PS5
• Many upgraded PS5 textures and lighting improvements are present
• Shadow quality and NPC draw distance are closer to PS4
• DLSS is used mainly for anti aliasing and upscaling
• Image quality is cleaner than PS4 and compares well to PS5 performance mode
• Minor DLSS artifacts appear, especially in handheld mode
• Overall described as a strong and technically impressive Switch 2 port
