Final Fantasy VII Revelation Will Feature Hot Springs, But Vincent’s Swimsuit Remains a Mystery
According to an IGN interview with Naoki Hamaguchi, Final Fantasy VII Revelation will include hot spring locations in various parts of the world, which sparked an interesting question that he addressed.
Hamaguchi was asked specifically about Cid and Vincent, who are both playable in Revelation, and whether they would receive swimsuit outfits. Neither character appeared in swimwear during Rebirth, and unfortunately, Hamaguchi was not ready to confirm whether that will change in the final game with the new hot spring content:
“As for that, I think it would be better not to give a clear answer yet. What I can say at this point is that, regarding Vincent, the question of whether it would really be a good idea for him to wear a swimsuit has been something we’ve been discussing within the team for quite some time. There is hot spring content this time. Hot springs appear in various locations.”
“While soaking in the hot springs, the characters each have their own unique conversations. I’d like you to look forward to seeing how Vincent gets involved in that. Whether he wears a swimsuit or not is also part of what I’d like you to look forward to, including what conclusion we ultimately came to.”
