Square Enix Says Final Fantasy XV for Nintendo Switch Is "Under Consideration"

Square Enix has commented on the possibility of bringing Final Fantasy XV to Nintendo hardware during the company's 46th annual shareholders' meeting.
According to reports from the meeting, a shareholder asked whether a remake of Final Fantasy XV could be released on Nintendo Switch.
Square Enix responded:
"There are hardware constraints, but from a specification standpoint it is not completely impossible, so it is under consideration."
No additional details were shared.
Final Fantasy XV never received a native release on Nintendo Switch. Instead, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD for the system in 2018.
