Square Enix Announced Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX Album for 2026 Release

As part of the ongoing Final Fantasy IX 25th-anniversary celebration, Square Enix has announced a new album, Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX. The album features a set of jazz arrangements based on the original soundtrack and is now available for preorder in all regional stores.
The project is led by Yuma Yamaguchi, known for his film score work and arrangements for major artists. The album includes a mix of piano, big band, and combo style arrangements, plus a few tracks using wordless vocal elements, all collected into a single CD with thirteen tracks.
