Final Fantasy XIV Returns to Anime Expo 2025 with Naoki Yoshida Panel, Activities, and Merchandise

Final Fantasy XIV will be featured at Anime Expo 2025, taking place in Los Angeles from July 3 to July 6. Square Enix will run a dedicated booth (SH-3314) with various activities for both new and longtime players. These include a stamp rally, a photo spot, and a New Player Experience. Visitors can collect stamps by completing tasks such as creating a character, sharing a photo, or filling out a survey. Those who complete the rally will receive a Final Fantasy XIV-themed jet tag.
Naoki Yoshida will appear as a Guest of Honor. He’ll host a panel titled “Leveling Up: How Anime, Manga, & RPGs Inspired Naoki Yoshida and Final Fantasy” on Friday, July 4 at 12:30 p.m. in Petree Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The panel will also be livestreamed on both the official Final Fantasy XIV Twitch channel and the Anime Expo Twitch channel.
Autograph sessions with Naoki Yoshida will be held at the JW Marriott Gold Ballroom at the following times:
Thursday, July 3 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 5 from 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Sunday, July 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available through the Epic site starting June 16 at 12:00 p.m.
The booth will also sell merchandise from Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy XVI. Items include T-shirts featuring new artwork debuting at Anime Expo, with a full lineup to be shared closer to the event via official channels. Giveaways will be available while supplies last, including stickers, carrying bags, and Final Fantasy XI-themed fans for attendees who complete the stamp rally.
A fan-organized Final Fantasy XIV cosplay gathering will take place on Friday, July 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gathering Site #2 on Chick Hearn Court. While not an official Square Enix event, members of the FFXIV Community team will stop by to take photos.
