Final Fantasy VII + VIII Remastered Twin Pack and IX Receive North American Physical Release

Square Enix has announced physical editions of Final Fantasy VII (Original) + Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack and Final Fantasy IX for Nintendo Switch in North America.
Both editions will launch on December 9, 2025, priced at $39.99 each. These are the first physical releases of these editions in North America. Final Fantasy IX was previously available physically in Asia, while the Final Fantasy VII + VIII Twin Pack was released physically in Europe. Pre-orders are open now.

About FINAL FANTASY VIII
FINAL FANTASY VIII follows the story of Squall Leonhart, a young student at a military academy known as Balamb Garden. Alongside his classmates, Squall becomes a member of SeeD, an elite mercenary force. Their mission to assassinate a sorceress named Edea spirals into a much larger conflict, as they uncover a sinister plot to compress all of time. The game is celebrated for its intricate plot, memorable characters, and the unique "Junction" system, which allows players to assign magic and Guardian Forces to their stats.
FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, App Store (iOS), and Google Play.

FINAL FANTASY IX tells a grand story of love, war and betrayal in a world of incredible magic and larger-than-life characters.
