Final Fantasy VII Revelation Releasing on April 8, 2027, Pre-Orders Available Now

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will launch on April 8, 2027. The release date was revealed during PlayStation’s State of Play, alongside a new trailer and an extended gameplay deep dive.
The new footage provides a closer look at exploration and several of the new gameplay systems. The world can be explored aboard the Highwind, while Piko, the party’s Chocobo, grows alongside the group and gains new traversal and combat abilities. The gameplay footage also shows Cid using Knight FITS and Vincent using Summoner FITS.
Pre-orders are now available for most versions. The physical Standard Edition costs €79.99/$69.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs €109.99/$99.99 and includes a mini-soundtrack, artbook and Steelbook case. The €389.99/$349.99 Collector’s Edition is exclusive to the Square Enix Store and adds a Cloud, Zack and Sephiroth statue, the Story Expansion Pass and several in-game items.
The digital Standard Edition costs €79.99/$69.99. The €109.99/$99.99 Premium Edition includes the Story Expansion Pass and 24-hour early access, while the €119.99/$109.99 Premium Plus Edition additionally includes a digital mini soundtrack, digital artbook and further in-game items. All digital editions include the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle Summon Materia as a pre-order bonus.
Japan will also receive an exclusive Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Complete Edition containing additional items compared to the regular collector's edition, including exclusive steelbooks, a Polygon Cloud Keychain, and a Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Display Stand.
The edition is listed on the official Square Enix eStore for 77,777 yen (€421.91/$488.69).
A digital Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Trilogy Edition is also available for €94.99/$84.99. It includes immediate access to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, along with the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle pre-order bonus for Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
