Final Fantasy VII Revelation Physical Editions Require Additional Downloads

Square Enix has confirmed that physical copies of Final Fantasy VII Revelation on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will ship on a single disc that does not contain the complete game. An internet connection is required to download additional data before you can play.

That’s a shift from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which came on two discs and did not require an extra online download to access the full game after installation.

The Switch 2 version is a Game-Key Card, as with Remake Intergrade and Rebirth on that platform. The first launch requires a download and at least 130 GB of free storage.
