Final Fantasy VII Revelation Sephiroth and Vincent DLCs Planned for Winter 2027 to Spring 2028

Square Enix has announced two story DLCs for Final Fantasy VII Revelation. One will focus on Sephiroth, while the other will feature Vincent and the Turks.

Naoki Hamaguchi explained the decision to produce the additional content and why Square Enix chose to announce it before the game's release:

“Following the announcement of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, we received many requests from fans and media for DLC, and decided to make it happen. Rather than announcing it after launch, we wanted to share our plans before the release of the main game. We’ll be telling the stories of Sephiroth and Vincent in greater depth. We hope you’re looking forward to it!”

The two expansions are currently planned for release between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028. Square Enix has not announced individual release dates yet, and both DLCs will also be sold separately after their respective releases.

Both expansions are included in the Story Expansion Pass, which will be sold separately at launch. The pass also includes the in-game Reclaimant Choker and a Survival Set containing useful consumable items.

The Story Expansion Pass is also included with the digital Premium Edition, the Premium Plus Edition and the physical Collector’s Edition.
