Xbox has expanded its January–early February Game Pass lineup, confirming that FINAL FANTASY II Pixel Remaster will join the service on February 3. This follows the release of FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster earlier this month.
As previously reported, the first FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster arrived on Xbox Game Pass on January 8. Now, Xbox has confirmed that FINAL FANTASY II Pixel Remaster is next, continuing the series rollout on Game Pass. This version also features refreshed 2D pixel graphics, improved sound, and a modernized UI, along with quality-of-life updates made for modern platforms, all while keeping the original design intact.
FINAL FANTASY II Pixel Remaster will be available via cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
With both FINAL FANTASY I and II Pixel Remasters now confirmed for Game Pass, the staggered release suggests that more classic entries could be added in the future, further growing the franchise’s presence on Xbox platforms.
