Short: Square Enix Confirms Multiplatform Future for Final Fantasy VII Remake Trilogy

Square Enix confirmed that the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy will release across all major platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It has not been confirmed whether the final part of the trilogy will launch on all platforms simultaneously, leaving open the possibility of timed PlayStation 5 exclusivity.

Naoki Hamaguchi shared the following statement:

“The FFVII Remake series will be expanding to major platforms moving forward. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC — we’re committed to making sure players can enjoy each Part in a way that suits their lifestyle.”

“As we approach the final Part, I’m truly grateful that more people will have the opportunity to experience the world we’ve poured our hearts into.”
