New Final Fantasy x Magic: The Gathering Scene Boxes and Commander Bundle Launching December 5

Wizards of the Coast announced at MagicCon Atlanta 2025 that more Final Fantasy-themed Magic: The Gathering products are coming later this year. Following the crossover’s record-breaking sales, new items will launch worldwide on December 5, 2025, with pre-orders already open.

The main highlight is the Chocobo Bundle, which includes ten Final Fantasy Play Boosters, thirty-two landmark basic lands in both foil and non-foil, and ten special Chocobo track foil lands. Each bundle also comes with two borderless Chocobo cards, a foil promo Birds of Paradise redesigned as “Paradise Chocobo,” one card from the Final Fantasy Scene Boxes, and a Chocobo-themed click wheel. The bundle is priced at $109.99.

A Final Fantasy Commander Bundle will also be released the same day. This set revisits the Limit Break preconstructed deck and includes a digital code for the original Final Fantasy VII on Windows PC. The Final Fantasy VII Commander Deck – Game Edition will retail for $99.99.

Four new Scene Boxes are planned as well, each priced at $41.99. These feature six cards that combine into one full piece of artwork and are themed around Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy XV.
