Naoki Hamaguchi discussed one of the key story moments in Final Fantasy VII Revelation during an interview with Brazilian outlet Omelete.
As previously reported, Hamaguchi stated that he has already completed the game around 40 times. He added that one particular sequence affected him emotionally in every playthrough. He avoided going into specific details but said the team is satisfied with how it turned out and is looking forward to players experiencing it.
"There is this quite essential scene for the story of Final Fantasy VII in which Cloud enters an introspective moment and discovers about his identity, and how it fits with Zack and Aerith. I think the way we portrayed this in Revelation turned out very good, and we are looking forward to fans watching it."
"I have already completed Revelation about 40 times, and every single time this introspective scene of Cloud made me cry."
