Merchandise: Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Music Boxes Announced

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX, Square Enix has revealed a new series of music box collectibles. This lineup includes three well-known tracks from the game: “A Place to Call Home,” “Rose of May,” and “You’re Not Alone,” each adapted into 18-note music box versions.

The boxes are scheduled to release on October 31, 2025, and will be available for 2,750 yen each. Like earlier releases from the same series, these music boxes are made using acrylic, iron, and zinc alloy, and measure around 60mm wide, 53mm deep, and 40mm high.
