Y'shtola Joins Dissidia Duellum on October 27, New Season “Dawn's Light”
New information for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy was announced during the latest official livestream, hosted by Arthur Lounsbery and Kasumi Ashizawa with guests Producer Naoya Matsumoto, Planner Yuki Mizuno, and Creative Producer Tetsuya Nomura.
Following character and ability balance adjustments will be implemented during the October 27 maintenance:
Y’shtola from Final Fantasy XIV is the next new Ghost and arrives on October 27, 2026.
To celebrate her arrival, Final Fantasy XIV Producer & Director Naoki Yoshida shared a special message.
She can be unlocked for free as a Season Reward in the new season “Dawn’s Light,” with new Sealed Ability Crystals also being added. A new Memoria, “Call of the First,” also arrives with the season.
Her exclusive UR abilities include “Flarefall” (illustrated by Nohara Hayashi) and “Spiritual Ray” (illustrated by Yasushi Hasegawa).
Additional new UR abilities are “Ardbert/Soul Surrender” (illustrated by Masayoshi Inoue) and “Hades/Shadow Stream” (illustrated by Sari Takahashi).
Gaia’s new outfit, “Iceshade Serenade,” is also coming soon.
Special Final Fantasy XIV-themed event missions will also be available during the season. Players can defeat the specified boss and claim rewards.
Several limited-time characters will return as “Ghosts” in November.
