In an interview with RPG Site, Naoki Hamaguchi addressed the possibility of a physical Xbox release for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade:
“In terms of the physical Xbox version release, we currently don't have plans for it, but it also does depend on the player demand. If there's a lot of demand for it within the users, that is something that would be great to consider.”
The last Final Fantasy titles to receive physical Xbox editions were Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion in 2022. Later releases, including Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, Final Fantasy XVI, and the upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, have been limited to digital editions on Xbox.
