Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis 2nd Anniversary Stream Reveals Advent Children Content and Future Collaborations

Square Enix announced during the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis 2nd Anniversary livestream plans for the coming months and that an event based on Final Fantasy VII Advent Children will begin on September 7 (JST).

The update will add the original version of Sephiroth as a playable character. An Advent Children version of Cloud will also be introduced together with his Fusion Sword. Both Cloud and Sephiroth will receive new ultimate weapons.
Additional Advent Children themed weapons will be available for Tifa, Yuffie, and Young Sephiroth. Players can also expect a new boss battle against Bahamut SIN.
New artwork created by Lisa Fujise was revealed as part of the anniversary update.

Square Enix also confirmed that the game will continue to expand with upcoming collaborations. Final Fantasy XIII is planned for November
Followed by the Nier series in December.

Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that news on Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is coming. He said the announcement timing has been set and that development is making great progress.
