Final Fantasy III IV VIII and IX Join GOG Preservation Program

GOG has expanded its lineup with the release of four classic Final Fantasy titles on its DRM free storefront. Final Fantasy III 3D Remake, Final Fantasy IV 3D Remake, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, and Final Fantasy IX are now available as part of the GOG Preservation Program.
According to GOG, all four releases are fully integrated into the Preservation Program, which focuses on long term compatibility. As part of this initiative, GOG tests the games against current and future operating system updates and provides customer support to ensure they remain playable.
All four Final Fantasy titles are sold in DRM free form. Once purchased, the games do not require online activation or a constant internet connection to play.
To mark their arrival on the platform, GOG is offering a 60 percent launch discount on all four titles. The promotion is scheduled to run until February 7, 2026.
GOG has also released individual trailers for each title alongside the launch announcement.

About FINAL FANTASY VIII
