War of the Visions Service Ended, Official Memorial Movie Released

The Japanese version of War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has now officially ended service after six and a half years. The shutdown took place at 12pm JST.

To mark the end of the game’s run, Square Enix released several commemorative initiatives and campaigns. This includes the previously announced Memorial Archives book, a lottery campaign that went live on May 26 through Kujibikid, and apparel released via Amazon Merch on Demand.

About War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was a tactical role-playing game co-developed by Square Enix and Gumi Inc. and published by Square Enix for iOS and Android devices. It is a spin-off of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius that draws inspiration from the Final Fantasy Tactics series of games. The game was released exclusively for Japan in November 2019, and a global version was released in March 2020.

On March 25, 2025, it was announced that the Global version would be discontinued on May 29, 2025. Service for the Japanese version will ended on May 28, 2026
