New information for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy was revealed during the latest official livestream. Like the first stream, the opening hours focused on the tournament finals, this time the Sephiroth Cup, before moving on to reveal upcoming game updates.
The broadcast highlighted several upcoming features. A new Chapter Selection feature will be added, allowing players to browse all previously released stories and FINE Episodes. Character and ability balance adjustments will be implemented during maintenance on June 30. A new boss called "Death Machine" arrives in mid-July, featuring area attacks and stun abilities.
Tidus arrives on June 30, 2026. He can be unlocked for free as a Season Reward in the new season "Not Just a Dream," with new Sealed Ability Crystals also being added. His exclusive UR abilities include "Jecht Shot" and "Blitz Ace." Additional new UR abilities are "Yuna/Holy" and "Wakka/Aurochs Reels."
A new limited time Memoria, "A Dream Fulfilled," also arrives. This stat boost focused ability can only be equipped in the Support slot. Rikku's new style, "Alchemist from Another World," is also coming in mid to late July.
A new stage, "Corrosion: Zanarkand," arrives, and special event missions and login bonuses will be available during the "Not Just a Dream" season.
To celebrate the FINAL FANTASY X 25th Anniversary, "25 Free Draws Every Tuesday" begins, giving players up to 100 Free Draws across four weeks.

While Tidus serves as the featured character for June, the stream also dropped a hint for the next "Ghost" arriving in July: "Long Hair"!?
