Square Enix Details Rewards and Requirements for FFXIV x Monster Hunter Wilds Event

The Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration starts in early October 2025. Like the earlier Monster Hunter World event, it will remain permanently in the game rather than being limited-time content. Players must be level 100 and meet minimum item level requirements to participate. Normal difficulty requires item level 725, while the extreme version requires 740. Access also requires completion of the Dawntrail main scenario questline.
The trial in this crossover is called “The Windward Wilds,” where players will face Guardian Arkveld, also known as the White Wraith. The extreme version will provide exclusive rewards.
Confirmed rewards include the Hope armor set and Guardian Arkveld–themed weapons such as Dual Blades, Greatsword, Gunlance, and Hammer.
Other rewards include the Seikret mount, minions such as a baby Seikret and a Vigorwasp, and housing items inspired by Monster Hunter Wilds camps, including outdoor tents or storage, a training dummy, and BBQ elements.
Square Enix and Capcom will present panels at Tokyo Game Show 2025. On September 27, there is a Capcom panel (Monster Hunter Wilds focused) with guest appearance by Naoki Yoshida. On September 28, Square Enix will host a Final Fantasy XIV panel detailing the Monster Hunter Wilds crossover content.
