Square Enix Details Final Fantasy Lineup and Stage Events for TGS 2025

Square Enix has published its lineup and full schedule for Tokyo Game Show 2025, taking place from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Several Final Fantasy titles will be showcased through hands-on demos, stage events, and special campaigns.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will have a playable demo, with visitors receiving a card case as a gift. A photo spot is also available, featuring a three-dimensional card from the Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy collaboration.
Final Fantasy XIV will feature a booth with a Fat Chocobo photo area, plus a meet and greet with Moogle and Alpha where attendees can collect a limited hand-fan.
A social media campaign across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Bluesky will also be held, offering an original bag as a reward for reposting official content.
A special stage event is scheduled for September 28 at 15:00 JST, featuring Naoki Yoshida and global community producer Toshio Murouchi.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will be playable ahead of its release on September 30, 2025. Visitors can obtain a sticker based on the title, and a dedicated photo spot will also be available. A special stage event will be held on September 28 at 13:00 JST with voice actor Shinnosuke Tachibana, director Kazutoyo Maehiro, co-director Ayako Yokoyama, and producer Shoichi Matsuzawa, who will discuss the game. Attendees will receive a special hand-fan.
The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game will host a pre-recorded program on September 28 at 10:00 JST, titled “How Was ‘Come to Me, Ifrit!’ Turned into a Card? Exclusive Look Behind the Scenes of the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game!” The presentation will showcase how scenes from the series are recreated in card form and provide updates on future products. Guests include Kasumi Ashizawa, along with Hobby Japan’s development team members Taro Kageyama and Takeshi Arai.
