Square Enix Confirms Switch 2 & Xbox Series Launch Date for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Square Enix announced during today’s Nintendo Direct that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. The game will be available both digitally and physically, with preorders beginning today on the Nintendo eShop.

Meanwhile, Square Enix confirmed in a self-uploaded trailer that the Switch 2 release date matches the Xbox Series and Windows PC versions. All platforms will launch on January 22.

The Digital Limited Early Purchase Edition will also include the original version of Final Fantasy VII, available until January 31, 2026.

A physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition will include one Final Fantasy x Magic: The Gathering Play Booster.
