Square Enix Announces Closure of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will be discontinued on October 30, 2024, at 11:59 PM PDT. This decision brings an end to a game that has been a favorite among mobile players since its launch on June 30, 2016.
Along with the announcement, the company ended sales of in-game currency Lapis and other bundles. Despite the impending closure, Square Enix confirmed that in-game events will continue until the service is fully discontinued.
"We've strived to provide an incredible and enjoyable gaming experience for our players every day that could exceed the day before. However, we've come to the conclusion that it would be difficult to continue maintaining the app experience, and to therefore end the app service."
The FFBE development team expressed their gratitude to the community, acknowledging the support and enthusiasm of the players since the game's launch. Players are advised to use any remaining Lapis before the service concludes, as all player accounts will be deleted after October 30.
