Square Enix is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX with a special lottery-style kuji game event, beginning on July 7, 2025. Each ticket will cost ¥770 (approximately $5.37 USD or €4.69 EUR), giving participants a chance to win exclusive prizes created specifically for the occasion.
The A Prize is a large, approximately 50 cm plush toy of Vivi Ornitier in a sitting pose.
The B Prize is a chiptune CD titled Final Fantasy IX - Chiptune Arrangement Tracks. It includes seven newly arranged songs, such as fan favorites “Melodies of Life” and “Song of Memories,” all created specifically for the 25th anniversary.
The C Prize is a faux leather tissue box cover designed for desktop use. It includes a pocket for storing small items and measures approximately H18×W25×D13 cm.
The D Prize is a set of four mini plates, each approximately 10 cm in diameter and featuring new character illustrations by Toshiyuki Itahana.
The E Prize is a set of postcards with envelopes inspired by the Mognet mail system. There are five different sets, each showcasing scenes from the game, CG art, or new illustrations by Itahana.
The F Prize consists of ten different rubber keychains, each featuring newly illustrated character designs. Each keychain measures approximately 7 cm × 7 cm.
The Special Prize will be awarded to the participant who draws the final ticket in the kuji. It is a canvas art piece featuring all the main characters in a new illustration by Toshiyuki Itahana. The canvas is F3 size, measuring 27.3 cm × 27.0 cm.
All illustrations used for the mini plates, postcards, keychains, and the canvas art were newly created by Toshiyuki Itahana specifically for this 25th-anniversary event.
