In a 2026 New Year Q&A, Naoki Yoshida was again asked whether Final Fantasy XIV will be released on Nintendo Switch. He replied only, “please look forward to it,” offering no further details. No Switch version has been officially announced, though Yoshida has previously said discussions with Nintendo have been positive.
