A current rumor circulating on Reddit claims that Tifa may be added to Street Fighter 6 as part of its Year 4 roster. The claim comes from the user RnK_Clan (which is already deleted), who previously predicted the game’s Year 2 character lineup. According to the leak, the next roster would include Vega, Haggar, Gouken, and Tifa.
TheGamer also states that additional sources indicate Tifa is planned as a future character, but no official confirmation has been provided.
The rumor seems unusual, given that crossover discussions around Tifa have more commonly been associated with Tekken, which already includes Final Fantasy guest characters such as Clive from Final Fantasy XVI in Tekken 8 and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV in Tekken 7.
As always, only time will tell if this rumor turns out to be true.
