PS5 - Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth Twin Pack Physical Edition

I just can't skip a physical release.

Does this release make sense? No. Did I still add it to my collection? Well... yeah 😅

Originally available only digitally before the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Square Enix has now released the twin pack as a physical version. It includes the Intergrade version of the Remake together with Rebirth. Why they decided to release it now instead of back then is something only they can answer. At this point you could just wait for a full trilogy pack. My only guess is that the third game will be announced soon (the Game Awards *wink wink*) and they want something on shelves for anyone who skipped the first game but is now interested in the third. I guess...

The pack was announced at 69.99€ but is already available for around 55€. What makes this even funnier is that it is not the cheapest way to get both games. Rebirth dropped to 25€ at one point and Remake often goes for the same or even less, bringing separate purchases well under 50€. A 50€ price point would feel fair for a bundle like this but definitely not the original 69.99€.

Now we are waiting for a trilogy pack which definitely makes more sense than the twin pack 😂
