New Panasonic Final Fantasy XIV Neck Speaker Set for December Launch

Panasonic will release in December the SC-GNW10S-FF, another gaming neck speaker developed in official collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV, priced at 35,200 yen (€196.04 / $227.78). This model builds on the previous SC-GN01 collaboration from 2022, keeping the same functionality as the SC-GNW10S while adding FFXIV-themed design features. The main unit displays all job icons, and the wireless transmitter features a Meteor motif, with LED indicators that can switch to colors representing player roles: blue for Tanks, green for Healers, and red for DPS.
The speaker system uses four drivers arranged around the neck to create an immersive surround sound experience, with modes tailored for RPG, FPS, or voice-focused gameplay. The accompanying collaboration app includes an animated Moogle and allows theme colors to match the LEDs, while startup and system sounds reference familiar FFXIV audio, including the Prelude and Content Finder notification.
The SC-GNW10S-FF is compatible with Windows, macOS, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, and can optionally connect to active subwoofers. Packaging features visuals from the latest expansion, “Dawntrail,” and a world map of Eorzea. The speaker is currently announced for Japan, but the previous SC-GN01E-FF model was available worldwide, so a wider release can be expected. Sales are planned through December 2026, but may end sooner if stock runs out.
