Square Enix's commitment to the Nintendo Switch 2 seems to go beyond the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. In a recent installment of Nintendo's "Creator's Voice" series, Naoki Hamaguchi, director of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, shared insights suggesting that the entire trilogy could eventually make its way to Nintendo's new console.
When discussing the capabilities of the Switch 2, Hamaguchi made a noteworthy comment about the potential for the series to run on the platform:

This statement strongly suggests that Square Enix is considering bringing not only the already announced Remake Intergrade but also Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the still-untitled third game to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Hamaguchi also shared his hopes for a deeper collaboration between the two companies, stating:

This remark hints at the possibility of more mainline Final Fantasy titles appearing on Nintendo consoles in the future.
