During a recent promotional Final Fantasy VII event in New York City, Naoki Hamaguchi spoke about a moment from the original game he was most eager to recreate in Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3. The conversation took place in a casual gathering after the event and was reported by Vinesauce.

“What is the scene from the original Final Fantasy VII that you were most looking forward to recreating in Part 3, or that you already know is in Part 3?”
Naoki Hamaguchi via Interpreter:
“It was Cloud finding himself with the help of Tifa. That was the part I was looking forward to, and we nailed it.”
