Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 Restricts Quest Access for Limited Jobs

Square Enix has shared new restrictions for limited jobs in Final Fantasy XIV with Patch 7.5, which is set to release on April 28, 2026.
After the update, limited jobs can only accept their own job quests and quests that are available to all jobs and classes. They also won’t be able to continue certain allied society quests that are quest synced and require you to stay on the same job or class until the end.
This effectively prevents the use of job switching with limited jobs for these quests, further limiting how they interact with existing content.
Players should make sure to finish any relevant pending quests before Patch 7.5 goes live.

As of the release of Patch 7.5 on Tuesday, April 28, limited jobs will only be able to accept the following quests:
Job quests for limited jobs
Quests available to all jobs and classes
Furthermore, limited jobs will be unable to proceed with certain allied society quests that are quest synced and require players to maintain the same job or class to completion. Please ensure all applicable pending quests are completed before the release of Patch 7.5.
