Final Fantasy XIV opens first permanent goods shop in Akihabara on December 19, 2025

Final Fantasy XIV will open its first permanent merchandise shop in Akihabara on December 19, 2025. The Final Fantasy XIV Goods Shop Akihabara will be located inside EXBAR TOKYO plus on the east west free passage near Akihabara Station. The interior is modeled after the Gridania market, allowing fans to browse Final Fantasy XIV goods in a space inspired by the game world. The store will be open from 10:00 to 23:00.
Three items will be available for pre sale on opening day: the Starlight Mug Cup, the Starlight Cushion Cover, and the Dawntrail Gaming Mouse Pad. The Starlight Mug Cup uses the same design as the Starlight event furniture from the 2024 in-game festival. Additional Final Fantasy XIV products will be added over time, with some also appearing later on the Square Enix eStore.
Customers who spend 3000 yen or more will receive a commemorative postcard. This is limited to one card per person per day.
The location will also include an on site medal engraving service called the Final Fantasy XIV Medal Typer. This lets customers engrave custom text on medals such as character names, birthdays, or free company founding dates.
