Final Fantasy XIV Gets First VR Attraction with Chocobo Racing

Tyffon Inc. is working on a VR attraction based on Final Fantasy XIV. The project is titled “Final Fantasy XIV: Chocobo Race VR” and is being developed together with Kansai Television.
This marks the first attempt to bring the world of Final Fantasy XIV into a VR attraction. The focus is straightforward: Chocobo racing. Players will ride a Chocobo and take part in races, with the experience designed to recreate speed, sound, and physical sensation. Specific details on the implementation have not been revealed yet.
The attraction is scheduled to open in October 2026 at Tyffonium, Tyffon’s XR theme park currently operating in Odaiba and Shinjuku. The company also plans to expand its locations in Japan and overseas.
