Final Fantasy XIV: Chronicles of Light Volume II Set for October Digital, December Print Release

Square Enix has officially revealed Final Fantasy XIV: Chronicles of Light, Volume II, a 304-page hardcover novel compiling thirty short stories based on the lore of Final Fantasy XIV. The collection will be available digitally in October 2025, followed by a physical edition in December 2025. The book is currently available for pre-order on the Square Enix Store, with wider retailer availability starting June 21.
The volume includes stories originally published on the official Final Fantasy XIV website and features content related to the expansions Shadowbringers, Endwalker, and Dawntrail. Four of the stories included are newly written for this release.
Each chapter in the book is accompanied by a newly created illustration by longtime Final Fantasy artist Toshiyuki Itahana.
