Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Demo Now Available on Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2

Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade demo on Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 (via console). The demo is now available on both storefronts and allows players to experience the full first chapter of the game, the mako reactor bombing mission.

Save data created in the demo can be transferred to the full game at launch on January 22, 2026. If demo save data is detected, players can claim the Revival Earrings and Survival Set in the full version. These items are accessible through the Gift Box option in the main menu.

On Xbox, the demo supports console, PC, and handheld play through Play Anywhere. On Nintendo Switch 2, the demo download size is 7.9GB. Square Enix also released a demo trailer alongside the demo launch.

To celebrate the release of the FFVII Remake demo on Switch 2 and Xbox Series, Tetsuya Nomura shared new crossover artwork featuring Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.
