Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Surpasses 11 Million Downloads Globally

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis has surpassed 11 million downloads globally as of May 28, 2025. This follows a steady series of milestones since the game's launch, including over 5 million downloads in its first week, 7.77 million downloads recorded by February 21, 2024, over 9 million by September 2024, and 10 million by October 2024.
To mark the 11 million milestone, Square Enix has launched a celebration campaign that provides 2,000 Blue Crystals to all players who log in. Additionally, special 11 Million DL Celebration Packs are now available for purchase in-game. These packs contain 10 Mythril Ingots, 200 Sephiroth-Specific Weapon Parts, and additional items.
A new feature called Badges has also been introduced. Players can earn badges based on their ranking and by completing high difficulty quests. The feature also supports retroactive progress, meaning that past achievements will be reflected in each player’s Badge records.
