FFVII Remake Series Collaboration Event “Keybound Brawler” Arrives in FFXIV on October 28
The Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration for Final Fantasy XIV’s new Gold Saucer attraction, Keybound Brawler, begins on October 28, 2026. The event runs until the release of Patch 8.0, with players able to earn MGC by taking part in its typing challenges.
The collaboration features 20 rewards, including Tifa and Barret attire sets, Barret's Gatling Gun, the Magitek Scorpion Identification Key, Wind-up Barret, three orchestrion rolls, and other items.
A keyboard is required to participate, as gamepads and on-screen keyboards are not supported. Players must reach level 15, complete “It Could Happen to You,” and then unlock the attraction through the limited-time quest “Keyward Bound.”
After the collaboration ends, Keybound Brawler will return as a special event at irregular intervals.
