English Editions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: Dear Destiny and Final Fantasy XIV Picture Book Announced for 2027

Square Enix has announced the English releases of two previously Japan-exclusive Final Fantasy books.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: Dear Destiny, written by Kazushige Nojima, launches on January 28, 2027 and continues the stories of Aerith and Tifa before the events of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, while also including a bonus short story from Cloud's time as a Shinra trooper.
FINAL FANTASY XIV Picture Book: Me and the Cornservant, written by Banri Oda and illustrated by Naoki Ikushima and Rina Yoshiura, follows on April 13, 2027, with preorders at additional booksellers scheduled to begin in July 2026.

The expanded edition, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE, and the second entry, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, are now available for Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX PC, PS5® consoles and PC. FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, the climactic conclusion of the series, will release for PS5 consoles, Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and XBOX PC, in Spring 2027.
