Yokohama Winter Holiday 2026 Brings Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Together
Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will come together for Yokohama Minato Mirai Winter Holiday 2026, running from November 11, 2026, to January 11, 2027. The event marks the first collaboration between the two RPG series in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai area, with themed displays, a café, exclusive merchandise, and other activities spread across several locations.
The main attractions include a special holiday tree featuring characters from both series and a giant Slime and Chocobo display, with additional character statues and panels serving as photo spots. Both main displays will receive updated decorations from December 26.
The collaboration café, Slachoco Kitchen, will serve themed food, desserts, and drinks throughout the event, with some menu items changing in December. Final Fantasy offerings include Moogle’s White Omelette Rice, Bomb’s Spicy Explosion Curry, Ultimate Magic Meteor Ice, Potion, and Phoenix Rebirth Flame Orange Soda. A combined Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy 40th Anniversary Plate will also be available.
Café visitors will receive an event-themed clear file, while food and drink orders come with a randomly selected coaster from seven designs. A separate workshop will let visitors make Slime and Chocobo keychains using iron beads, with designs inspired by the Famicom versions of Dragon Quest and the Final Fantasy Pixel Remastered series.
A limited-time Square Enix pop-up store will sell newly illustrated collaboration goods alongside other Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest merchandise. Announced products include collaboration keychains and T-shirts, as well as a Chocobo plush wearing a Moogle hoodie.
A stamp rally will also run across both venues: visiting several spots earns a Minatomirai Points app coupon, while completing the full route unlocks a Slime and Chocobo sticker. Spending 2,000 yen or more at participating stores also gets you a limited hologram sticker. More details are on the official event site, with café info and reservations on the Cafe Fan Base website.
