Square Enix has launched the Japan Nationwide Dot FF campaign (#日本全国ドットFF) for Final Fantasy Resonance, challenging fans across Japan to find 56 pixel-art characters appearing at locations across the country.

Running from October 29 to December 21, the campaign covers all 47 prefectures, with character displays appearing at Animate stores, train stations, newspaper advertisements, and other locations. Each display includes a QR code that leads to the official campaign website, where participants can collect a social media icon of the character they found.

The campaign's main goal is to discover all 56 characters through nationwide cooperation. Original wallpapers are unlocked based on the total number of characters found across Japan, so each discovery contributes to the community's progress.

The campaign website allows fans to follow the collection as more characters are found. At the time of writing, 21 of the 56 characters had been found.
