Square Enix Confirms 1 Million Global Sales for Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles has passed 1 million units in global shipments and digital sales, according to an official announcement from Square Enix. The game launched in September 2025 and reached this milestone about three months after release.
Square Enix also shared that the team sees this sales milestone as motivation to keep supporting the game. They are considering future updates focused on improving gameplay comfort and making the experience more accessible to a wider audience.

Related to today’s announced 1 million milestone for Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, in a tweet in June, Director and Scenario Writer Yasumi Matsuno predicted 800k–1M sales over three years for the remaster, noting most remakes don’t surpass sales of the original (~2.5M for the 1997 release).
