FuturLab announced that the Midgar Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator will be removed from all storefronts on May 19, 2026, alongside the Tomb Raider Special Pack. The free DLC, based on a Final Fantasy VII Remake setting, has been available since its release in March 2023.
Players who claim the content before the deadline will retain permanent access. The removal only affects new downloads.
The Midgar Special Pack includes five levels based on locations and assets tied to Midgar:
The iconic Hardy Daytona & Shinra Hauler
The mighty Scorpion Sentinel
The charming Seventh Heaven
The Mako Energy Exhibit
The formidable Airbuster
It also adds new dirt types such as bio-residue and features narrative elements delivered through in-game text messages from Shinra and Avalanche.
The announcement also confirms that the delisting aligns with the end of FuturLab’s formal partnership with Square Enix, which acted as publisher for PowerWash Simulator across platforms.
