Square Enix is releasing yet another Aerith Bring Arts figure, this time with the Mythril Rod instead of the Guard Stick. If it looks familiar, that’s because it is the same figure that was already released, just with a different weapon.
After Cloud and Tifa, this is the third rerelease of a Final Fantasy VII Bring Arts figure that only changes the weapon. Following the announcement, fans are again asking why a full figure release was necessary instead of offering weapon packs as separate accessories. Many hope Square Enix will consider that option in the future.
