Merchandise: Square Enix Opens Pre-Orders for Final Fantasy VII-Themed Pet Products

Square Enix has opened pre-orders for a new set of pet merchandise under the SQEX PETs product line, all themed around Final Fantasy VII. The lineup includes a dog toy and two pet scratching posts, featuring familiar series elements such as the Buster Sword and Fat Moogle.
The collection includes a rope toy modeled after Cloud’s Buster Sword, made of polyester and measuring approximately 30cm in total length. Also available are two scratching posts made of paper: one shaped like the Buster Sword, and the other featuring the Fat Moogle design.
All three items are available for pre-order through Square Enix’s Japanese online store and also via AmiAmi, which offers worldwide shipping. The products are scheduled to ship in September 2025.
