Final Fantasy XVI to Receive New Lore and DLC Art Books in 2026

Square Enix Manga & Books has announced two official Final Fantasy XVI books coming in 2026. The first, LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI, will be released in March, followed by The Art of Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Rising Tide in May.

LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI is a detailed guide to the world of Valisthea, told from the point of view of the Valisthean scholar Harpocrates II Hyperboreos. It covers many parts of the world, like its music, stories, religion, and cooking traditions. The book is written through journal entries, letters, diaries, and character conversations, giving readers a deep look at the setting and culture of Final Fantasy XVI.

This book also includes original writings from the English voice actors. Ben Starr (Clive), Stewart Clarke (Dion), and Christopher York (Gav) each add new material to develop their characters further. The book is a full-color hardcover with hundreds of illustrated pages.

The second book, The Art of Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Rising Tide, focuses on the two DLC episodes, Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. This 92-page hardcover artbook shows key art, concept sketches, and environment designs made during the creation of the DLC. It also features character and enemy designs, along with exclusive illustrations by lead artist Kazuya Takahashi. Printed on high-quality paper, it’s a companion to the earlier The Art of Final Fantasy XVI.
