Final Fantasy XI Collaboration With Wizardry Variants Daphne Begins July 30
Drecom has announced that the previously revealed collaboration between Wizardry Variants Daphne and Final Fantasy XI will begin on July 30, 2026.
The crossover will take place in both games, with Wizardry Variants Daphne receiving a limited-time event that brings the worlds of both titles together. The event will run until September 10.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XI will receive a collaboration item in August. The “Abyss Mask” is based on the mask worn by the “Masked Adventurer,” the player character of Wizardry Variants Daphne. The item will be distributed to all characters that log into Final Fantasy XI during the campaign period.
Further details about the collaboration content in both games will be revealed at a later date.
Wizardry Variants Daphne is a 3D, first-person dungeon-crawling RPG based on the classic Wizardry series. It features grid-based maze exploration, turn-based combat, and party management in a dark fantasy setting.
The free-to-play game (with gacha elements) is available on mobile devices and Steam and combines the hardcore gameplay of classic dungeon crawlers with modern visuals and voice acting.
