Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Will Feature Enhanced Support on PS5 Pro

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be among the first titles to benefit from the new PlayStation 5 Pro, as confirmed during the PS5 Pro Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny. The game is set to take full advantage of the PS5 Pro’s advanced features, promising enhanced visuals and improved performance.

"Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in particular popped compared to the fuzzier graphics on the existing PS5 version. Everything was sharper, and still 60fps smooth. It felt like putting new glasses on."
The PS5 Pro, launching on November 7, 2024, features several significant upgrades. It features a GPU with 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster memory, resulting in up to 45% faster rendering speeds. Additionally, the console’s advanced ray tracing and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology will deliver sharper images and more dynamic lighting effects.
Priced at $699.99 USD, £699.99 GBP, €799.99 EUR, and ¥119,980 JPY, the PS5 Pro will include a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller, and a copy of Astro’s Playroom. Preorders will begin on September 26, 2024.
